01 - Place shredded coconut in blender container. Pour hot water over coconut.
02 - Blend on maximum speed for 2 to 3 minutes until mixture appears homogenous and creamy.
03 - Line a large bowl with cheesecloth or clean kitchen towel. Pour blender contents into cloth. Gather edges and squeeze firmly to extract all liquid.
04 - Using funnel, transfer coconut milk to clean glass bottle. Refrigerate up to 4 days. Shake well before each use.
