Grilled Cheese (Printable)

Golden crispy bread with gooey melted cheddar, ready in 13 minutes.

# What You Need:

→ Bread

01 - 4 slices sandwich bread (white, sourdough, or whole grain)

→ Cheese

02 - 4 slices cheddar cheese (or preferred melting cheese)

→ Spread

03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

# How-To:

01 - Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice, ensuring complete coverage to the edges.
02 - Place two bread slices butter-side down on a clean surface. Layer each with two cheese slices. Top with remaining bread slices, butter-side facing up, to form complete sandwiches.
03 - Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat until evenly warmed, approximately 2-3 minutes.
04 - Place sandwiches in the preheated pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on the first side, pressing gently with a spatula to ensure even contact. Flip carefully and cook an additional 3-4 minutes until both sides achieve golden-brown color and cheese is fully melted.
05 - Remove sandwiches from heat and let rest for 1 minute to allow cheese to set slightly. Cut into halves or quarters and serve immediately while hot.
