Chocolate Easter Egg Nests (Printable)

# What You Need:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 3 cups crispy rice cereal or shredded wheat, crushed (75 g)

→ Wet Ingredients

02 - 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (260 g)
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (28 g)

→ Decoration

04 - 1 cup jelly beans or candy-coated chocolate eggs (150 g)

# How-To:

01 - Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease with nonstick spray.
02 - Place chocolate chips and butter in a heatproof bowl. Melt together using a microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between each interval, or use a double boiler until completely smooth.
03 - Add crushed cereal to the melted chocolate mixture. Stir gently until all pieces are evenly coated.
04 - Spoon mixture into prepared muffin cups, dividing evenly among all 12 cups. Use the back of a spoon to create an indentation in the center of each nest, forming a well for the filling.
05 - Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until completely firm and set.
06 - Remove nests from tin. Place 3 to 4 jelly beans or candy eggs in the center well of each nest.
