- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian herbs. Cook until beef is browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12 x 10 inch rectangle.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 3/4 inch border around the edges.
- Distribute cooked beef over the sauce, arrange pepperoni slices evenly, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Starting from a long edge, roll the dough up tightly into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
- Cut the log into 8 equal pieces. Arrange the slices cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the roll ups with olive oil.
- Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for 3 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve with extra pizza sauce on the side.
